A Few Bonus Words

We are coming to the end of our Embracing Hope Advent series. Tomorrow, Christmas Eve, will be the final instalment and so I wanted to take a moment and share a couple of things with all of you who have joined in this series.

First, thank you so much for signing up for the series. As many of you know, the Embracing Hope series is part of my newsletter, The Hidden Reservoir, which is a platform that I use to share some of my writings throughout the year. Since you have already subscribed to the Hidden Reservoir, I hope that you will stay subscribed as we move into 2023. I plan to share some new devotional ‘offerings’ on this platform, and they will simply continue to come to your in-box.

Second, I want to express my real gratitude to my fellow contributors in this series, Eric Brooks and Tyler Williams. This series was richer because of your writings. Thank you for taking the time to be guest contributors.

Finally, tomorrow is Christmas Eve and I know that many of you have plans to attend a Christmas Eve service, but for those that may not have plans, I want to extend an invitation to join any of the following services:

Laurier Heights Baptist Church (that’s where I am a pastor) is having a Candlelight service at 5:00pm. We are located at 8505- 142 St NW.

Strathcona Baptist Church with Pastor Eric Brooks is having a service at 7:00pm They are located at 8318 104 St NW.

Greenfield Community Church with Pastor Tyler Williams is having a Candlelight service at 4:00pm. They are located at 3712 - 114 Street NW.
